34. The three circles- Bhupuram

Verse 34

Bindhu trayamaya teja: tritayavikaarascha taani vruttaani

Bhoobimbatrayam etat pashyanti aadi trimaatru vishraanthi:

“The three circles are the transformations of the effulgence of the three bindhus.  These are the three circles in the bhupuram.  The three mothers including Pashyanthi rest here.”

Commentary:

Now the author talks about the three circles that are present outside the lotus petals.  He says that the circles are the lights emanating from the three bindhus.  These three lights are the moon, sun and fire.  The three saktis, pashyanthi, madhyama and vaikhari are upto this place luminous.  They function from the trikona upto this bhupura. They abide the sakhtis, Anima and others, Brahmi and others, and sarva sankshobhini and others.

பிந்து த்ரயமயதேஜ: த்ரிதயவிகாரஸ்ச தானி வ்ருத்தானி

பூபிம்பத்ரயம் ஏதத் பஷ்யந்தி ஆதி த்ரி மாத்ரு விஸ்ராந்தி:

“ மூன்று பிந்துக்களின் ஒளியே மூன்று வட்டங்கள்.  அவை பூபுரத்தின் மூன்று வட்டங்கள்.  பஷ்யந்தி முதலிய மூன்று மாதாக்கள் அங்கு ஓய்வெடுக்கின்றனர்.”

விளக்கவுரை:

எட்டு மற்றும் பதினாறு தாமரை இதழ்களை அடுத்து உள்ள மூன்று வட்டங்களைப் பற்றி இப்பாடல் பேசுகிறது.  இந்த மூன்று வட்டங்கள் மூன்று பிந்துக்களின் ஒளியாகும்.  இதனால் இவை சந்திரன், சூரியன், அக்னி என்ற மூன்று ஒளிகளைக் குறிக்கின்றன.  இவ்வாறு பஷ்யந்தி மத்யமா மற்றும் வைகரீ சக்திகள் த்ரிகோணத்திலிருந்து பூபுரம் வரை ஒளிபடைத்து செயல்படுகின்றன.  அவை அணிமா முதனான சக்திகளையும் பிராம்மி முதலான சக்திகளையும் சர்வ சங்க்ஷோபிணி முதலிய சக்திகளையும் உள்ளடக்கி விளங்குகின்றன.
